16th December is late nite shopping night at
Silverdale.
Craftworks Studio , Dizzy
Ducks and Silverdale Restaurant will be open
until 9pm.
Vincenza Bellafiore will showcase her collection
of
Designer clothing in
the Restaurant from 3pm. Enza, as she likes to
be called, lives and breathes Italian style. Her
range of clothing is exclusive and you are sure
to find something out of the ordinary for that
special night out.
Have a Go!
Silver
Martin invites you to
have a go at making a piece of jewellery. He
will run a 'Silver Leaf' Workshop at 6.00pm to
give you the opportunity to make your own
jewellery. Cost £30.00 - inclusive of all
materials. Please phone to book your place -
space is limited.
Ceramics
June will be on hand
from 6pm to assist should you want to paint a
last minute gift.
Craftworks Studio is a fully equipped
ceramic studio situated in the beautiful
surroundings of Silverdale Glen.
The Studio offers you the
opportunity to paint and decorate your own
ceramic bisque.
Make your selection from
the large range of items available and
Martin and his friendly team will give you
as much or as little help as you need to get
started.

Studio fees for children are £4.00 and £5.00
for adults. The bisque is priced from £3.50 up
to £30.00. Once you have decorated your piece it will
be glazed and fired on the premises and will
be ready for collection within a week. If
your time on the island is limited, please
let us know and we will do our best to have
your items ready for you before you leave.
Items can always be posted.
Brush up your
brushstrokes every Friday from 2pm -
4pm. Martin will coach you in how to
create beautiful designs with simple
brushstrokes. £15.00 tuition fee.

Sue Woolard shows off her plate
with pride. This three part workshop saw us building each leaf,
fruit and flower by hand. Once kiln fired, they were all painted
and finally the plate was painted and embellished with the fruit,
leaves and flowers. The final glazing produced beautiful pieces of
work which have taken pride of place in our homes. An example of
this lovely piece can be seen at the studio |
